The fastest way to solve any Wordscapes level in 20 seconds
This works on every level, at any number, on iOS and Android. It does not need an app, an account or a download.
- Look at the letter wheel at the bottom of your screen. Write down every letter, including any letter that appears twice.
- Type those letters into any search box as one string, with no spaces, followed by

There is a second trick that costs nothing at all. The letter set is always exactly the letters of the longest word on the board. How to find your Wordscapes level number
Most people search a pack name because that is what the map screen shows, then land on a page numbered differently. Your actual number is on screen the whole time.
- Open the puzzle you are stuck on (not the map).
- Look at the top left of the board. The number printed there, for example Level 27, is the game level number.

Note the jump: Forest does not start at level 1. Pine 1 is game level 13. That single offset is why so many answer pages disagree with each other, and why searching the letters beats searching the number.

It does not cover every Wordscapes level, and no page honestly can. The game has run since 2017 and PeopleFun has kept adding levels, so any site advertising “all 150,000 levels” is running an automated word solver against a letter string, not a checked list. That solver is often right, but it will also hand you words the board does not want.
Coverage here expands with each recheck. When it does, the update line under the H1 says which packs were added. Until then, use the letter method at the top of the page for anything past level 40. It is faster than scrolling a list of thousands anyway.
Which Wordscapes levels do people get stuck on, and why
Difficulty in Wordscapes does not track the level number. A level 27 can stop you dead while a level 300 falls in ten seconds. Three things cause almost every stuck point.
Repeated letters. The wheel shows the same letter twice and players assume it is a rendering quirk. It is not, and you need both. Level 16 has two Ts (TRACT), level 19 has two Es (GLEE, EAGLE), level 25 has two Ps (APPLY), level 31 has two Ds (DICED), level 33 has two Ts (TENTH) and level 38 has two Ns (NINTH). If a five-letter slot will not fill, count the letters again.
Obscure or dated words. The dictionary includes words nobody says out loud. GRAD at level 37, DOLE at level 14, SILO at level 27, TUBER at level 39, BETA at level 11 and BRAN at level 12 all block people who are looking for something more everyday.
Three-letter fillers. The board is padded with short words that exist only to link the long ones. ABS, ARC, ION, SOD, SLY and DUO are the ones that stall people. When a long word is already placed and one three-letter slot remains, run the vowels through it: pick the vowel, then try every consonant either side.
Plurals and near-anagrams. Levels that want both the singular and the plural, or two anagrams of the same letters, feel like a bug. Level 26 wants PEAK, PEAKS and SPEAK. In order of how often it actually happens:
- You are on a different level than the page thinks. This is the big one. Pine 1 is level 13, not level 1, and sites disagree about the early numbering. Compare the letters on your wheel to the letters in the table. If they do not match, the level number is the problem.
- You missed a repeated letter. Two Ts, two Ps, two Ns. Count the wheel, not the word you have in your head.
